UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN DEAD ON THE SPOT AFTER HIT-AND-RUN

BUTUAN CITY – At around 3 AM on March 2, Monday, an unidentified woman who was said to be in her 40-50s was killed on the spot after she was hit by a motorbike of an unknown driver in Barangay Pigdaulan, at the borderline in Barangay Lemon, Butuan City.

In the words of PLt. Abel Bulawan, the spokesperson in Butuan City Police Office, the victim had mental illness according to the people who have been in the area.

The deserted and dark scene is also considered as one of the causes of the incident.

In the meantime, the authorities are currently investigating the identity of both parties, while the dead body of the victim lies in Butuan Medical Center (BMC).
