NO MORE BUS TRAVEL DESTINATIONS LEAVING AND ARRIVING IN BUTUAN CITY

BUTUAN CITY - Following Butuan City's localized community quarantine starting at midnight on March 19, 2020; only two travel routes were allowed. These are the routes to Surigao City and Cagayan de Oro City.
Starting March 20, however, there will be no more buses leaving or arriving at the quarantined city for any destination including the aforementioned.
The public bus terminal and the Robinsons Public Bus Terminal are now temporarily out of service. Bus companies are not allowed to operate until further notice as all cities and municipalities in Mindanao are now under community quarantine.
City mayor Ronnie Vicente C. Lagnada released executive order number 19 which will put the city under quarantine starting from midnight on March 19 to April 18, 2020.
Bus conductors and drivers are waiting for notifications from their bus company employers.
Meanwhile, City Administrator, Reynante Desiata, said city tricycles, jeeps, and multi-cabs should follow the prescribed social distancing of a meter distance between their passengers within their vehicles.
