DA CARAGA ISSUES 1,472 FOOD LANE PASSES TO AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT SUPPLIERS
BUTUAN CITY - The issuance of food lane accreditation from the Department of Agriculture (DA) Caraga provides easy delivery of agricultural and fishery products such as vegetables, fish, and meat to markets during the enforcement of localized community quarantine in the region.
According to Lynn Pareñas, the chief agriculturist of DA Caraga, two documents will be released which are the food lane vehicle pass that has the applicant's name and type of vehicle including its color and plate number, and food pass wherein the accreditation number and its validity are indicated. Both documents have security features to ensure the products are unhampered during transport.
From March 19, 2020, there are 1,472 food lane passes have been issued to different sectors including, farmers, producers, cooperatives, and business establishments with agri-fishery products.
The interested applicant should accomplish the following requirements: Business Permit, Official Receipt, and Certificate of Registration (CR) of the vehicle to be used for transport.
Applicants may visit the nearest agricultural program coordinating office in their area.
