Caraga reports 41,000 quarantine protocol violators
The number of individuals who violated the quarantine protocols reached 41,757 in the Caraga region from September 17, 2020, to April 15, 2021, according to the data from the Regional Operations Division of PNP.
2, 972 were reprimanded for violating the curfew hours; 15,266 arrested for disobedience to the person in authority; 22,161 who violated the wearing of face mask; and 1,358 who failed to observe the social distancing.
The violators have also been sanctioned by doing community service, receiving a citation ticket, and being sentenced to prison.
Newly instated PNP Chief General Guillermo Eleazar recently commanded the stricter implementation of quarantine protocol.
