The second round of COVID-19 vaccination for senior citizens began on May 17 and will last until May 21 in Butuan City. SM City Butuan, FSUU Morelos, Robinsons Place Butuan, and Bilay Polyclinic are the designated vaccination posts.
Due to the limited doses available from the Department of Health, vaccines are being apportioned in a scheduling manner among senior persons in various barangays.
According to the spokesperson of Butuan LGU Michiko de Jesus, around 3,000 individuals only will receive the shots as it is what is allocated for the city.
“Mao nang naa lamang kitay 20 or 30 kada barangay nga mga seniors nga mabakunhan,” said the spokesperson.
