ANHS: BUYING RAKRAKAN 2020 CONCERT TICKET IS NOT COMPULSORY FOR STUDENTS

BUTUAN CITY - Agusan National High School clarifies the buying of rock concert tickets as part of the activities for the upcoming high school days in March is not compulsory for students.
Dr. Ruel Gabor, Principal IV in Agusan High, says not buying the concert ticket worth P100 won’t affect the students’ grades.
“…This is an SSG-initiated activity, and [in fact], when it comes to [the] collection, it’s the SSG officers are receiving the amount, so no teachers involved[ as to the collection],” said Principal Gabor.
The school targets 1500 sold tickets from junior and senior high students because the covered court, the venue of the event, can only accommodate up to that limit.
Dr. Gabor clears up the P100 worth of ticket is just enough for payment for the band, which the school has a remaining balance of P150,000 worth of talent fee.
Meanwhile, students agreed to the ticket price.
Through this rock concert, ANHS aims to develop the social aspects of its students.
Principal Gabor reassures the SSG President and the band organizers are in agreement for the band to only perform songs with a positive message.
Rakrakan 2020 concert will be on March 6, at 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, led by Jayson Fernandez, a former member of the band Rivermaya.
