3-MONTH OLD TWINS IN BRGY. BABAG ARE IN NEED OF HELP
Updated: Jan 30, 2020
BGY. BABAG, BUTUAN CITY – The 3-month old twins who are now admitted in Butuan Medical Center, are knocking at the door of our hearts.
The twins, who are fighting for dear life to survive their unfortunate situation, are identified as Mara and Clara Empilan, residents of Purok 7, Brgy. Babag,
Mara is just skin and bones while currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) because she gets choked up when taking breastfeed.
While her twin, Clara, who has lumps on her face and head, is continually recuperating in the ward section.
In the meantime, the barangay Babag officials are taking initiatives to provide assistance and help for the babies.
Julius Pencienaves, Captain of Brgy. Babag.
(For now, Clara has received two bags of blood, while Mara received one. Their number one priority need right now is financial assistance because, at times, the prescription is not available at the city hospital pharmacy.)
To pay more attention to the twins, the barangay officials have reached out to CSWD for the assistance of the babies’ needs.
Captain added.
(The CSWD will take care of the babies once they are out of the hospital. Their parents are mentally disabled, and so they are not capable of nursing them. There’s a high chance that the twins will be neglected if they would stay with their parents.)
To those who are willing to give financial or in-kind donations, you may contact the Brgy. Babag Officials.
Babag para mahatagan dayon nato ug assistance ang mga bata nga nagnginahanglan sa ilang mga panginahanglanon sa hospital,” he said.
(To those who have a tender heart and want to help the babies, they may give their donations to the CSWD or me, the Barangay Captain of Brgy. Babag so that we can immediately offer assistance for their needs in the hospital.)
In the little that we can give is a great joy to those who are in need.
